the brief

A contemporary Hampton style family home that is timeless in its design.

the site

A 20-meter-wide frontage with north west street and south east canal frontages.   

the design

Northern turret roof to let some natural light into the centre of this elongated house design.  
Stacker doors connect the under cover alfresco area which is sheltered by the dining wing to the outdoor area and allows for uninterrupted views of the water and the private jetty.

the materials

External finishes are classic Hampton style Hardies weatherboard painted white and grey, stone look carved render, white posts and beams and a grey Colorbond pitched roof. 
Garden retaining and footpaths are liquid limestone look concrete for that Mediterranean feel.
Benchtops and cupboards are white Caesar Stone with modern white cabinets.
